I did a lot of research on this and ended up going with Ace Garage Storage. The motor is super quiet and the build quality of the platform is top notch. Just make sure you hit the joists correctly when you bolt it in.
Good to know! I've been considering getting a lift. Did you need any special tools to put it together?
Not really, just a good drill, a stud finder, and a socket set. Took me and a buddy an afternoon to get it fully functional.
