Am I the only one who had terrible luck with those 'easy to sprout' moonflower seeds?
Honestly, I cold stratified them in my fridge for 30 days like everyone says, and only 2 out of 20 came up, while my neighbor just tossed hers in a pot and got a dozen. Has anyone else found a better method that actually works?

30 days in the fridge dry will kill them more often than not. You want them in a damp paper towel inside a ziplock bag, check it every few days to make sure it hasn't molded. Another trick is to scar the seed coat with a nail file or sandpaper before you put them in the baggie. Moonflowers have that hard outer shell that's not really about cold, it's about wearing down the seed coat so water can get in. Your neighbor probably got lucky with a batch that had thinner shells or the soil temperature was just right. Try the scratch and baggie method next year, I've had 80% success that way.
