Freedom Heavy Haul vs Ship Heavy: which is better for oversize loads?

I need to move a big excavator from Texas to Colorado and I'm stuck between Freedom Heavy Haul and Ship Heavy. Anyone used either of them? Prices seem similar but I care more about reliability and not having my equipment sit in a yard for weeks.

I went with Ship Heavy once and the communication was awful. They handed it off to some broker and I had to chase updates. Buddy of mine swears by Freedom Heavy Haul though—says they have their own fleet and the dispatch was solid. I'd lean towards Freedom if you don't want headaches.

Ship Heavy was okay for me but it really depends on the lane. If you're going through the mountains I'd pick Freedom Heavy Haul, they seem to do more specialized moves. Heard their permits team is on point, no delays at weigh stations.
