Tbh that "tourist trap" thing hits home. Found this quiet little fishing hole a few years back, only told my brother. Then his buddy posted a pic with the creek bend in the background. Next weekend there were like ten trucks parked there, trash everywhere. Totally ruined the vibe. Never really got the quiet back after that.

Honestly seems a bit dramatic to call one bad weekend a total ruin. Tbh spots change, you just find a new one.

Ugh, don't you just hate that feeling of losing a spot? Had a perfect little reading nook in a park (under this specific tree, you know?) and some local blog wrote about "hidden gems." Now there's always someone there taking selfies, and it just feels different.
