Ngl, I turned my kitchen into a smoke bomb with a simple roast mistake

Honestly, I was roasting some beans on the stove and forgot to adjust the heat after the first crack. Tbh, the smoke was so thick I had to open all the windows, and my neighbor asked if I was okay. I figured out that using a timer and lowering the flame earlier stops the scorching. Now I just laugh when I think about how dramatic it was.

Watched my buddy try to roast his own coffee beans once. He got distracted by a phone call and left them on high. Smoke billowed out so thick you couldn't see the stove! His fire alarm screamed for five minutes straight. He ended up opening all the doors and using a box fan to blow it out. Now he jokes about it, but he never roasts without a timer anymore.

Holy CRAP the smoke was so thick you couldn't see the stove?! That sounds like a straight-up FIRE waiting to happen, not just some burnt beans. Your buddy is SO lucky nothing caught. At least he learned his lesson with the timer!

Oh man, my buddy burned some garlic bread so bad last week that his fire alarm went off and the whole place smelled like a campfire for days. He still ate it though lmao.
