A stranger at a Goodwill in Ohio corrected my tape label and she was spot on

I was labeling a box of old horror tapes when this older lady walked by and said that date mattered more than the title because collectors search by release year. She pointed at my 1987 copy of Slime Manor and I had the year wrong on the spine. Has anyone else had a random person at a thrift store give them advice that actually stuck?
