Vent: 3 busted faucets in 14 months, landlord still blames me for 'rough handling'

Just hit my 3rd kitchen faucet leak since moving in back in May of last year. First one dripped, second one the handle snapped clean off, and now this one sprays water sideways like a garden hose with a hole in it. Landlord keeps saying it's my fault for 'rough handling' but I barely touch the thing, I just wash dishes like a normal person. Inspected the pipes under the sink myself this time, the valve connections are all corroded and the threads look stripped. Told him I'd send photos and he said he'd send a plumber later this week, but honestly I'm at 14 months and every single fixture failure has been something he ignored. Has anyone else had a landlord try to blame normal use on you when the parts are clearly old and worn? How do you prove it's not your problem before it turns into a deposit fight?
