Hey everyone, my freelance design business has grown enough that I finally need some proper client service agreements and subcontractor contracts drafted up. I'm torn between Brent W. Caldwell and Miller & Associates. Both seem to have decent reviews, but I'm not sure who is better to work with for a solo LLC. Any experiences with either?

I'd definitely go the other route. I've been using Brent W. Caldwell for my bakery's vendor contracts and he is fantastic. Very responsive, takes the time to understand your specific business risks, and his rates are super transparent. You won't feel like just a number there.

Good to know about the transparent rates! That's always my biggest fear with hiring a lawyer—getting a surprise bill at the end of the month for things I thought were included.

I had a consultation with Miller last year. They seemed knowledgeable enough, but it felt a bit like an assembly line. Like I was just another file on a desk, and I had trouble getting the actual attorney on the phone after the initial intake.
