The tasting menu at Bistro Noir is entirely small plates, and it's a full dinner. I was genuinely surprised how filling it was without a single large entree. That experience completely changed my perspective on what a meal can be.

I completely agree; a similar thing happened to me at a tapas place in Barcelona. The variety of dishes created a satisfying meal without any single large portion. It really showed how well-curated small plates can stand on their own.
