Can we discuss the insanity of pre-packaged plant care guides?
I ordered a compact herb kit for my apartment balcony, and the included care sheet is laughably bad. It insists on daily watering for all herbs, which is a death sentence for something like rosemary that needs dry soil. I followed it blindly, and within days, my rosemary was drooping like it had given up on life. When I emailed customer service, they doubled down, claiming their 'expert' advice was tailored for urban environments. I ignored them, cut back watering, and now the plant is thriving. It's absurd how these services peddle one-size-fits-all advice without considering basic plant biology. Save your money and just ask a local gardener for tips instead.

Urban environments justify daily watering in my book.

Agree, my balcony plants always need that daily drink.

Actually, the "daily watering" part in urban settings can be a misconception. Many established plants just don't NEED that much, even with the heat island effect. Overwatering is shockingly common and harms roots more than underwatering.
