A client said my AI art looked too much like a stock photo filter
I was making a logo for a small coffee shop in Portland using a diffusion model, and the owner told me the first draft looked 'slick but soulless, like a stock photo filter.' I went back and used a lot more specific text prompts about hand-drawn textures and local landmarks, which made a huge difference. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you change how you write your prompts?

Portland coffee shops need that handmade feel, you know? I got similar feedback on a bakery logo last month, said it looked like clip art. Now I always add prompts for pencil sketches or watercolor stains before I even start the final image. It forces the AI away from that default polished look. That owner gave you good advice.

Disagree, honestly. That default polished look is what most clients pay for.
