Had a wild week testing GPT-4o for real time language translation in Barcelona

My buddy and I took a trip to Barcelona last month and I spent the whole week stress testing GPT-4o's real time translation feature. It worked great for simple stuff like ordering food but completely bombed when a local cab driver went on a rant about traffic. His accent threw it off so badly it translated frustration into a weather report. Anyone else find these translation tools fall apart with heavy regional dialects?
