Hit 10,000 AI-generated images in one month and it freaked me out a little

I was running some experiments with stable diffusion for a project I'm working on, trying to see how consistent the outputs would be across different prompts. I set up a batch process and let it run overnight, thinking maybe a couple hundred images at most. When I checked the folder the next morning my computer had churned out over 10,000 images without me even noticing. That number really got to me because it shows how fast these tools can produce content now, way beyond what a human artist could do in weeks. The scary part was that maybe 60% of them were actually usable which means the bottleneck isn't creation anymore, it's filtering and quality control. I realized we're going to need totally new ways to manage and sort through this flood of AI content before it becomes overwhelming. Has anyone else run a big batch and been surprised by the scale of what gets generated?

Honestly Patricia, I felt the same way when I first tried one of those AI art tools. It really messed with my head seeing it crank out stuff in seconds that would take me hours. But what helped me was using the AI as a starting point instead of comparing it to my own work. I'd take its output and then actually mess with it in my own style, add my real hand-painted textures or redraw the whole thing by hand. It turned into a way to get ideas going rather than feeling like it was replacing me. @patricia905 maybe give that a try and see if it changes how you feel about your own art.
