I just blew $200 on an AI 'content optimizer' that basically just rewrote my sentences worse.
Has anyone found a tool that actually helps with SEO writing without making it sound like a robot wrote it?

Honestly just write it yourself and run it through a free grammar checker. Those fancy tools always overcomplicate things. I tried one that turned "fix the problem" into "implement a solution to address the issue." It's useless. You already know how to talk about your stuff, just do it in plain English. The robots are not good at this yet.

Wait, have you tried just reading it out loud before you send it? That catches like 90% of the clunky stuff for me. Grammar checkers are fine for catching typos but they butcher your voice every single time.

Just spent five minutes staring at a sentence it "improved" that said "the blue widget connects users" and it changed it to "the azure widget facilitates user connectivity." Who talks like that? It sounds like a bad company mission statement. I'd rather write it myself and sound like a human.
