Man, that's the exact same look my uncle gets. It's this quiet shock when technology moves faster than a person's comfort zone. You can almost see their whole idea of how the world works getting rewritten.

Not sure I buy this whole "worldview getting rewritten" thing. My dad's looked confused every time I've shown him anything on a smartphone since 2010. It's not deep, he just doesn't care enough to learn the new stuff. Same look whether it's a deepfake or trying to find the mute button on Zoom. People act like this is some profound moment, but honestly most of the time it's just a person not wanting to bother with the latest update.
