PSA: I watched a demo at the Columbus library last month and it fixed how I label my job site photos
They had a free AI showcase night at the Columbus library on a Thursday back in January, mostly to show off tools for small business owners, and I almost skipped it because I figured it was all sales pitches. The guy running one table showed how he dumps 60 photos into a model and it renames every file with what is actually in the picture, like "torn shingles north slope fixed." I tried it the next week with 40 shots from a re-roof in Hilliard and it got maybe 34 of them right on the first pass, which beat my old system of IMG_3047 forever. The misses were mostly the close-up detail shots, and I just hand-fix those in about 5 seconds each. What sold me is that now when a customer texts me in March asking what we did to their flashing, I search and find the photo in seconds instead of scrolling for 20 minutes. Cost me nothing to try since the library event was free. Has anyone found a setup that's better at close-up shots, or is hand-fixing just the way to go?
