That AI writing tool I hated on actually makes my emails readable now
I spent like 6 months making fun of a coworker for using a grammar AI thing to write customer complaints at the hardware store. Thought it was lazy and fake since everyone knows a real person can just type stuff out. But after I had to reply to 15 angry emails about a bad batch of paint sealant last Tuesday, I caved and tried the free version. Honestly it took my angry rambling and made it sound professional without losing the point. Now I use it for like 70% of my work emails and nobody has yelled at me since. Anyone else switch sides on a tool they were sure was garbage?

Oh man, that hits so close to home! I was exactly the same way with voice-to-text dictation. I used to roll my eyes so hard at people talking to their phones in public like they were filming a vlog. Then I sprained my wrist bad and had to use it just to send any texts at all. Now I swear by it for long emails and even some posts. It's funny how we decide something is "fake" or "lazy" until we actually need it ourselves. That's the thing about tools though, they're just tools. If they help you communicate better without losing your actual voice, that's not cheating, that's just working smarter.
