The day I figured out I was prompting AI all wrong for 6 months
I was asking this chatbot to write me a brochure for my fencing company in Austin and getting back total garbage, like flowery nonsense about 'embrace the boundary of your sanctuary.' Then my buddy Dan (he works in IT) watched me type a prompt and said 'dude, you are asking it to guess what you want instead of telling it exactly.' Are any of you still making the same basic mistake where you give vague requests instead of specific instructions with examples?

Yeah Dan nailed it. Vague prompts get you vague junk.

Oh for sure, @lewis.charlie. It's like asking for a car and being surprised when they hand you a cardboard box with wheels. Sucks when you have to dig for the good stuff.
