Vent: My AI art generator hallucinated a 3rd arm on my client's product photo
I was editing a batch of product shots for a furniture catalog in Chicago last Thursday, and my usual AI upscaler decided to add a random extra arm holding a lamp in the middle of the sofa. It took me 2 hours to fix the mask and re-render because the tool kept blending the arm into the cushions. Has anyone else had their AI add weird body parts during batch processing?

The extra arm thing is honestly just AI being too literal with "hold the lamp" training data. But this feels like the same issue I see everywhere now, like my work calendar keeps suggesting meetings during my lunch break because it learned that "productive hours" overlap with "eating hours." We're basically fighting machines that learned the wrong rules from real life. At least your 2 hour fix is a win, my calendar just keeps offering 11am donut meetings like that doesn't wreck my afternoon.

A buddy of mine runs a small photography studio and had an AI tool add a ghost dog to a wedding album shot. The couple laughed about it but he had to rebuild the whole background from scratch. Said it looked like a cursed pet that followed them around.
