Warning: This new AI bid tool might be costing honest contractors work

I've been using this AI software for concrete job bids, and it's supposed to be fair. But I've seen it push prices way down, maybe cutting corners on safety. Last month, a friend lost a big contract because the AI favored a lower bid that ignored proper curing times. Isn't that just asking for cracks later? Now I'm stuck wondering if using it makes me part of the problem. We have to figure out how these tools are trained before they ruin our reputations.

Bad curing can absolutely cause structural issues over time.

Skipping curing is asking for structural problems, not just cracks.

Structural problems" is a bit strong for most home slabs. Surface cracks from bad curing are common, but actual structural failure is pretty rare. You'd need to ignore basic reinforcement or have truly awful soil for that.
