Appreciation post: My air fryer saved a rainy Tuesday dinner disaster
This past Tuesday was a real mess. I got home from my route later than usual, it was pouring rain, and I realized I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer that morning. My plan for lemon pepper chicken was totally ruined. I was about to just order a pizza, but I decided to try a trick I saw online. I popped the frozen chicken breasts right into the air fryer basket. I set it to 380 degrees for about 25 minutes, flipping them halfway. I was fully ready for a dry, chewy result, but I was shocked. They came out perfectly cooked through, juicy, and with a nice crispy outside. I just seasoned them after they were done. It completely turned my night around. Has anyone else tried cooking straight from frozen with good results? I'm curious about other proteins like fish or burgers.
