Honestly, I just spent 3 hours trying to get crispy air fryer chickpeas and they're still soggy. What am I missing?

Oh the crispy air fryer chickpeas struggle is real. Try patting them bone dry with paper towels first, like way more than you think you need to.

Did you try tossing them with a tiny bit of oil and cornstarch? That was my game changer. I dry them well, then mix in maybe half a teaspoon of oil and a good sprinkle of cornstarch. The cornstarch seems to suck up the last bit of moisture. They come out crunchy every single time now, not just some of them.
