I used to dry my herbs in the oven, the air fryer is way better
For years I dried rosemary and thyme in my regular oven at the lowest setting. It took like 4 hours and sometimes they burned on the edges. Last month I tried my air fryer on the dehydrate setting at 120 degrees and it only took 35 minutes. The herbs came out crispy but still green, not brown like the oven did. I just spread them on the tray in a single layer and flipped them once halfway through. Now I dry all my garden herbs this way, even mint and oregano. Has anyone tried drying other things like chili peppers or fruit in their air fryer with good results?
