My sister said my air fryer chicken was dry as cardboard and she was right

She told me to stop cooking it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes straight. Now I do 380 for 15 minutes, then let it rest inside for 5 minutes with the basket pulled out. What's your go-to trick for keeping chicken juicy?
