Rant: I just hit 200 uses on my air fryer and the basket coating is flaking

I've been using it almost daily for crispy tofu and frozen fries since I got it in January. Yesterday I noticed silver metal showing through in a spot the size of a dime on the non-stick surface. Has anyone else had this happen before hitting the one year mark?

Did you ever use metal utensils in it by accident?

Ugh, that's so frustrating for a daily driver. Sounds like a warranty call to me.

Yeah, @andrew_kelly has a point there. It feels like everything these days has some weird built-in flaw thats supposed to be normal, but really its just bad design. Youd think for the price, a pan should handle a metal spoon without starting to flake on you.
