Serious question, my air fryer chicken came out dry last week

I followed a recipe online for whole chicken legs, set it to 375 for 25 minutes like it said. They looked perfect but tasted like cardboard. What's the best way to keep chicken juicy in there?

Lower the temp and check it sooner.

My oven runs hot, so I always set it 25 degrees lower than the recipe says.
