That $20 air fryer liner pack turned my crispy chicken into soggy sadness

Someone on here told me silicone liners kill the crisp, and after 3 tries with soggy wings I finally tossed them. Got parchment liners with holes instead, way better results - anyone else ditch silicone for parchment?

Same thing with nonstick pans, people swear by them but sometimes you just need that direct heat and a little bit of sticking to get a proper sear.

Tbh those silicone liners are basically waterproof jackets for your food - great for keeping things wet, terrible for anything you want crispy.
