The cashier at Aldi laughed when I air fried her cookie recipe

I brought in a batch of air fryer chocolate chip cookies to show this cashier named Deb at my local Aldi last Tuesday, and she nearly fell over when I told her they only took 8 minutes. She whispered to me that her husband would never believe it, so she made me write the temp on a napkin. Has anyone else had a stranger demand your air fryer secrets in a grocery store aisle?

Those air fryer muffins work like a charm, I've had good luck with them too.

Oh man, did this same thing happen to me last month at my local grocery store? I made these air fryer banana muffins and brought them to the deli counter lady because she always hooks me up with extra samples, and she literally stopped what she was doing to copy down the recipe on a receipt slip. She said her kids would lose their minds over 10 minute muffins instead of 25 minutes in the oven. Now every time I see her she asks what new weird thing I've air fried that week. Have you found any other recipes that win over cashiers like that?

@beth_baker69 have you tried air fryer hash brown patties? I shredded some potatoes, pressed them into patties with salt and pepper, and they came out crispy in like 12 minutes. My checkout lady at Aldi asked what smelled so good and I gave her one. Now she waves me over to her lane whenever she sees me. Your mileage may vary on that one though.
