Finally found an anime merch store in Austin that actually stocks older series
I walked into Otaku Craze on South Congress last weekend and they had a full shelf of Trigun figures from the 90s, which made my whole trip since most shops here only carry whatever's currently airing on Crunchyroll, has anyone else lucked out finding vintage stuff at a random local store?

Wait, a full shelf of Trigun figures from the 90s? That's wild because I've been checking the same shop for years and they usually only have a dusty wall of Funko Pops from whatever anime just finished. I drove two towns over last month just to find a single Vash the Stampede keychain at a comic book store, so finding a whole shelf sounds like hitting the jackpot. I might have to swing by this weekend and see if they've still got any of the older stuff before it all gets snatched up.

Hang on, did you say you actually drove two towns over just for a keychain? That is dedication man, I gotta respect that. But a whole shelf of 90s Trigun figures? That's like finding a unicorn in a haystack, I don't know how that shop even still has them unless the owner is sitting on a time capsule. I used to go to this one place back in like 2015 that had a couple of those old Banpresto figures and I swear they got picked clean within a week. Seriously, if you go this weekend and they're still there, buy them all. I'm half tempted to make the drive myself but my car is acting up and I don't trust it for a long trip right now.
