Had to choose between sub and dub for Death Note and still not sure I picked right
So I finally started Death Note last week and got to episode 3 before I had to make a call. My buddy swears by the sub because he says the Japanese voice actor for Light is way more intense. But I went with the dub cause I like to multitask while watching and honestly the English cast is pretty solid. Now I'm 12 episodes in and the sub fans keep telling me I'm missing out on like 30% of the performance. Anyone else stick with dub for a show and later wonder if you should have gone sub instead?

Have you tried switching for a couple episodes to see which one you actually enjoy more? I watched Death Note dubbed all the way through and never felt like I missed anything important.
