Hit 50 episodes of a show I hated, now I get why people love it

I used to think Vinland Saga was overrated. Kept seeing it everywhere so I put it off for like 2 years. Then last month I told myself I'd give it 10 episodes just to have an opinion. At 10 I was still bored. At 25 I started actually paying attention. Something clicked around episode 45 when I realized I had stopped waiting for the action and started caring about the characters. I finished all 50 first season episodes yesterday and now I'm reading the manga. What show made you flip your opinion that hard?
