I finally noticed how much crunchyroll's subtitles changed over the last year

I was rewatching Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 last night and compared the subtitles to a clip from when it first aired. The old ones had these weird translation choices like calling techniques by different names. Now they match the official English manga terms exactly. It's way smoother to follow. Has anyone else caught subtitle updates on older shows on streaming sites?

That's exactly what I noticed too, @pat_murray16. It's like they finally hired someone who actually watched the show instead of just guessing. I swear some of those early subs on Crunchyroll felt like they were translated by a bot that only knew 200 words. Going back and fixing all that mess must have been a nightmare for whoever had to do it. But honestly, it's about time, because trying to follow a fight scene with those old subs was like reading a ransom note written in crayon. Now it actually makes sense without needing a decoder ring.

Wait, they actually went back and updated the old subs?! That's wild... I figured once those weird early translations were out, that was it.
