My anime watchlist app deleted 3 years of progress

Last Tuesday I opened my tracking app and everything was gone. 400+ shows logged, all my dropped ratings, gone. No backup. I sat there for 10 minutes just staring at the blank screen. I tried the restore option but it only had data from last month. Ended up rebuilding from memory over 2 days, still missing like 30 obscure titles. Anyone else lost their anime history and just never fully recovered it?

Funny how a blank screen makes you realize your watchlist was more about habit than actual enjoyment. Sometimes losing that history is a chance to start fresh and only keep the shows you genuinely loved, not just the ones you felt obligated to finish.
