My whole anime club got into a huge fight over filler arcs last Thursday

We were trying to pick our next group watch, and someone suggested Naruto. That started a 45 minute argument about whether to skip the filler. One guy said filler 'adds depth,' another called it 'a waste of life.' It got so loud the library staff asked us to leave. Has your group ever had a blowout over something this basic?

My last D&D character was a lawful good paladin for three whole sessions. Then I stole a magic pie from a shopkeeper because I was hungry. The party's rogue still brings it up at every session, like I broke some sacred trust. Honestly, the alignment chart feels less like a guide and more like a trap I keep failing.
