Rewatching Cowboy Bebop for the first time in 6 years...

I finally sat down and rewatched the whole series last week after my friend kept bugging me about it. Forgot how that last episode with Spike just hits different now that I'm older and have lost a few friends along the way. Does anyone else feel like certain scenes change meaning as you get more life experience?

Overthinking a cartoon from the 90s seems like kind of a stretch.

2 of my buddies had a falling out a few years back over something dumb. We all watched the episode with Faye and her memories and one of them just broke down, said it made him think of his own brother he hasn't talked to in a decade. Hit way harder than when we were in high school watching it for the first time.
