Stuck between subbed and dubbed for Attack on Titan - went with sub and it was intense

I had to pick between watching Attack on Titan subbed or dubbed last month and I went with the Japanese audio with subtitles. The voice actor for Eren in the sub just hit different during those big scream scenes in season 2. Has anyone else felt like the emotional moments land harder in sub or am I just being picky about it?

Stuck with sub too and it was the right call. Erens VA brings that raw anger that the dub just cant match imo. Those emotional peaks hit way harder in Japanese no question.

Right? 4 seasons of screaming in English and I still can't take it seriously. Meanwhile Japanese Eren sounds like he's actually losing his mind, not like he's trying out for a metal band.
