That one night at Anime Expo that was just a disaster from start to finish

Last Friday at AX, I waited 3 hours in line for the Hololive panel only to get turned away at the door because they hit capacity. Then my phone died and I couldn't find my friends for another hour in that sea of people. To top it off, some guy spilled boba tea all down my Ghibli hoodie I just bought that morning. Has anyone else had a con day that just went completely sideways like that?

Buddy of mine had a similar run at a smaller con last year. Waited an hour for a panel, got in, then his laptop bag with his sketchbook and charger got swiped off the floor while he was watching. Spent the rest of the day at lost and found instead of seeing anything else.

Yeah I remember danieltaylor's story, similar thing happened to a buddy at a comic con - his signed poster tube got taken while he was grabbing a soda.
