Tried to explain the plot of Neon Genesis Evangelion to my dad during a car ride to Portland. It did not go well.

Did I just hear my own future when @ryanburns said he's been that dad before? My brain's already preparing my kids for the day I try to explain how a depressed teenager pilots a giant robot and it turns out his mom is inside it.
