Vent: That $40 Evangelion box set from a garage sale was a bootleg
Grabbed what I thought was a steal off some guy's lawn last weekend... turns out the episodes cut off mid-scene and the English dub is totally wrong. Has anyone else wasted money on counterfeit anime before?

Wait, do the original voice actors even get paid extra when they change the master recording like that? Feels like a sneaky way to bypass residual payments if you ask me.
