Debate: Pull the plug on a failing project or keep pushing through?
I was sitting in my home office last Tuesday trying to debug a website that was already 2 months late and $3,000 over budget. Half the features just flat out broke when I tested them and I had this sinking feeling that nothing would save it. My gut said to scrap the whole thing and start from scratch with a simpler plan. But my partner argued we should patch it up and ship something even if it's clunky, just to get a win on the board. We ended up spending another week on fixes and it still launched with bugs... has anyone else been in this kind of spot? Which side usually works better for you?

Oh geez, you guys didn't scrap it? I mean, sometimes patching up a mess just gives you a bigger pile of problems later. If the core was already broken, slapping more code on it usually makes it worse, not better.
