I blew $200 on a 'premium' question answering service that was just a scam

I paid for a year of a site called 'AnswerElite' that promised expert research and detailed replies for any topic. It was just a cheap AI wrapper that gave me wrong info and broken links. I tried to get a refund after the first month, but their support ghosted me. Has anyone found a real, helpful service for getting good answers online?

Honestly, I see this everywhere now. My cousin paid $150 for a "custom" meal plan app that just recycled free info from fitness blogs. Last week I almost bought a "premium" grammar checker that turned out to be a broken Chrome extension. It feels like half the internet is just people slapping a fancy label on some cheap automated junk and hoping you don't ask for your money back.

My local coffee shop started charging $8 for "artisanal" instant coffee packets last month. It's the same stuff you can get at the dollar store, just in a brown paper bag.

Eight dollars for instant coffee is a new low.
