I used to hate the idea of buying used tools, then a 20-year-old bandsaw changed my mind
I always figured used tools were beat up junk that would cause more headaches than they saved. But last month I needed a metal-cutting bandsaw quick for a job in Bakersfield and grabbed a 1980s Delta from a guy on OfferUp for $80. Cleaned it up, replaced the blade, and it cuts straighter than my newer $400 model. Has anyone else had good luck with older equipment that surprised them?
