Just noticed people keep asking questions that are already answered in the community FAQ
I was helping a new member yesterday and they asked how to format a poll. The answer is literally the first thing in the pinned guide. This happens at least twice a week. It matters because it clogs the feed with repeats. Has anyone else found a nice way to point this out without sounding rude?

Yeah the FAQ is pinned, but honestly I never check those either lol. I usually just copy the link to the guide and say "here you go

Honestly, when you just copy the link without checking the FAQ first, you might be sending people to an outdated guide. Tbh I've done that before and it caused more confusion. The pinned post gets updated way more often than some random guide floating around. So now I always glance at the FAQ to make sure I'm giving the right info.

But what if the FAQ is a mess? I mean, sometimes the pinned post is so long and full of old info that finding the right answer takes forever. A direct link to a specific guide can actually be way faster for everyone. If the guide is good, it doesn't matter if it's not the absolute newest version as long as it solves the problem. Checking the FAQ every single time just adds an extra step that slows down helping people.
