One perfect day last June made up for a whole year of bad ones
I was driving home from a job interview in Cincinnati that went terrible. I missed a turn and ended up at this tiny state park I never knew existed. The place was empty on a Tuesday afternoon so I hiked down to a creek and sat on a rock for an hour just listening to the water. Then a deer walked up about 20 feet away and didn't even care I was there. That was the first time in months I felt actually peaceful. Has anyone else had a random moment like that turn a garbage day around?

You ever have one of those moments that completely flips your view on things? I used to think peace of mind was something you had to plan out or earn, not just stumble into. But that day on the creek changed my mind, showed me it can hit you when you least expect it.
