The $700 dehumidifier that saved my basement or just my wallet, depending on how you count it
I put a big dehumidifier in my crawl space after a wet spring in Ohio, and it keeps the wood dry and the smell gone, but my electric bill jumped 40 bucks a month, so is it really a win or am I just paying to feel better about a problem I created by not fixing the grading outside first?
