Blew $2k on a LinkedIn automation tool that got my account flagged in 3 days
I signed up for this outreach bot that promised 50 connections a day with personalized messages. After 72 hours, LinkedIn locked my account and I lost all my saved leads and conversations. The refund policy was a joke too, they said it was my fault for using it wrong. Has anyone found a safe way to do automated outreach without getting banned?

Honestly, I’m gonna say you kinda brought this on yourself. LinkedIn’s rules are super clear about automation, and 50 connections a day with personalized messages is basically screaming for a ban. Ngl, if you read their user agreement, it’s not a gray area - they straight up say no bots or scripts. Tbh, that tool was probably a scam from the start, but you also ignored the platform’s terms to try to game the system. I get it, outreach is annoying to do manually, but taking a shortcut and then blaming the tool feels like you were looking for an easy way out. Maybe just use the platform like everyone else and focus on quality over quantity.

Used to think automation tools were a smart workaround myself. Tried one for about a week a couple years back. Then LinkedIn flagged my account and I had to reset my password. That was enough to make me stop. Your post made me realize those tools are basically playing with fire. The rules are pretty black and white when you actually read them.
