Cold calls used to be my Monday dread, now they're a 3pm slot

I used to block out every morning for cold calling and hate it all day. About 3 months ago I switched to just 45 minutes at 3pm, right after lunch, and I hit 3x more conversations in the same time. The change was simple: I now only call prospects who opened my last 2 emails, not a raw list of 500 names. That warm signal means I'm not guessing, I'm just continuing a conversation. It cut my dials from 60 a day to 18 and my booked demos went from 2 a week to 5. Has anyone else tried shifting their call window to match their own energy, or do you stick to a fixed morning routine no matter what?

Ever tried doing this with a morning shift at the hospital? I feel you on the whole dread thing. It takes me a solid hour just to wake my brain up, so I get why 3pm works for you. The email signal trick is smart too, it's basically like triaging before you even pick up the phone. Glad it's working out, honestly, that's a huge jump in demos.

Ever tried setting just two email check times a day before you even open your phone?
