I was grabbing coffee at this place called Fleet Coffee last week and overheard two SaaS guys talking. They said adding a single line about a specific pain point they heard on a prospect's podcast boosted reply rates by 40%. Has anyone else tried pulling content from a podcast episode before reaching out?

40% sounds like one of those numbers someone throws out at a coffee shop to sound impressive. Unless they ran a controlled test across hundreds of emails, that stat is probably just barstool talk. I'd want to see actual data before treating a podcast quote like a silver bullet.
