Just heard a SaaS founder say cold email is dead unless you do this one thing
I was at a coworking space in Denver last Tuesday and overheard this founder on a call. He said most cold emails get flagged by AI filters now because they all have the same structure. He told his buddy they started writing emails like texts, no templates, just real short messages asking one question. Has anyone else had old cold email formats stop working all of a sudden?

What was the open rate like on their last batch before they switched? I've noticed my own response rates dropping hard over the last year, and I'm wondering if this text style approach actually bypasses those spam filters. It makes sense since most AI detectors look for formal sentence structures and salesy language.

Actually ryanburns I tested a casual text style on my last batch and open rates jumped from 12% to 28% weirdly enough.

Yeah @joseph448 that's honestly wild... guess all those AI detectors are just mad they can't write like a normal person either.
