Overheard a SaaS founder say they cut churn by 40% with just one email change
It was at a meetup in Denver last week, and they swapped their cancellation confirmation page to a simple 'are you sure?' flow with a 14-day pause option. Has anyone else tried this kind of exit survey tweak and seen real results?

That pause option is smart, churn often comes from people who just need a break not a full cancel. Glad to hear it worked, those small tweaks can really surprise you.

@jason_robinson exactly, and it's funny how that same pattern shows up in so many other parts of life. My wife and I have this rule where if one of us is getting annoyed at a hobby or a project, we just put it down for a couple weeks instead of quitting. Nine times out of ten, we come back to it fresh and actually enjoy it again. Same goes for stuff like gym memberships or even just regular chores. Giving yourself permission to step away without the guilt of a full stop makes a huge difference. It's like hitting reset instead of turning the whole game off. Your mileage may vary but that small change in mindset has saved me from dropping a lot of good habits over the years.
